Met Gala 2012
Known in sartorial circles as ‘The fashion Oscars’ fashion’s most eagerly anticipated night of the year The Met Gala arrived last night. Celebrating the opening of the Prada and Schiaparelli exhibition showcasing the incredible impact both designers have had on modern dressing. With outfits ranging from the sublime to the slightly ridiculous the A list were out in force showcasing all the SS12 trends from Solonge Knowles and Eva Mendes in fab colour pop dresses to B’s gothic feathered number to Poppy’s perfect Chanel. My favourite look of the night   channelling Gatsby Glamour was Camilla Belle, ravishing in Ralph. Here’s her look from runway to red carpet.

A self-confessed shoe-a-holic, red lipstick obsessive, travel lover, sports fan and aspiring fashion buyer. “Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.” — Coco Chanel
